Dear Miramonte Community, | |
Miramonte has two exciting events next week. First, the Latinx Heritage Festival, a student- and staff-led community event celebrating Latino culture, will be held in the Student Union on Wednesday, October 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Then, on Thursday, October 10, at 7:00 p.m, we will host our annual Fall Music Concert, featuring our talented music students led by our fabulous new music teacher, Mr. Carl Oser.
We are a month away from Winter Sports beginning! If your child is interested in trying out for a Winter Sport, please CLICK HERE to learn more about the registration and tryout process. Please also plan on attending the Winter Sports Parent Night on Thursday, October 24, at 6:00 p.m in the main gym.
Lastly, as the 1st Quarter is winding down next Friday, October 11, please encourage your child to talk to their teachers if they have a question or concern about an assignment or grade. The purpose of our Communication Policy is to help our students develop critical communication skills and to resolve situations at the lowest possible level.
See you at our home football game tonight at 7:00 p.m, have a great weekend, and GO MATS!
