Driving Small Business Forward

Deadline: June 2, 2023

Progressive®, in partnership with Hello Alice, is accepting applications for its Driving Small Business Forward fund program, which is aimed at providing support to diverse small business owners across the country. The program will award 10 Black-owned small businesses each with a $25,000 grant that can be used toward purchasing a commercial vehicle for their businesses:

Eligibility:

  • Be a for-profit business majority (51%+) owned and operated by a Black-identifying entrepreneur(s)
  • Have 10 or fewer employees and less than $5 million in annual gross revenue
  • Have a demonstrated need for a qualifying commercial vehicle to run their business and clear plan for growth as a result of his vehicle purchase
  • Not be an independent contractor whose primary business is for a rideshare service.

eBay Up & Running Grant

Deadline: June 9, 2023

eBay is giving back to small businesses powering America. In partnership with Hello Alice, eBay is awarding more than $500,000 in grants and education resources to support U.S. small businesses with the resources they need to scale, grow and thrive. :

Eligibility:

  • Be a legal resident of one of the 50 United States, D.C. or Puerto Rico
  • Be 18 or older
  • Be either a new eBay seller who joined between July 26, 2022, and April 26, 2023, or an established seller with a strong seller rating
  • Not a recipient of any previous rounds of the eBay Up & Running Grants

Road Closures May Affect your Commute

Highbanks Road CLOSED from HWY 17/92 to Shell Road (June 5 - August 4)

Beginning June 5, 2023, Highbanks Road near the Winn-Dixie Plaza will be closed for roadwork. Detour routes will be established and clearly marked with signage to guide traffic around the road closure area. The @. Highbanks closure will occur each weekday, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. The road will be open on Monday, July 3, 2023, and Tuesday, July 4, 2023.


If this closure affects your business' traffic, please inform your staff and customers of the roadwork schedule.
