“Dementia Conversations”

Virtual Education for the Community and

Family Caregivers Set for November 14

The Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7), Holzer Health System Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, and the Alzheimer’s Association are joining together to offer the community a virtual way to learn more about dementia as a way to provide support to family members who may be seeking to understand more about the condition and how best to help their loved one. “Dementia Conversations” will be held on November 14^th from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.

“Holiday Upcycling Workshop”

OhioMeansJobs Pike County and the Workforce & Business Development Program invite community members to join us for a no-cost Upcycling Workshop.

During this workshop, you'll discover innovative ways to reuse, reclaim, and revamp everyday items, ultimately saving you money. Our in-class project will demonstrate just how fun and easy it is to upcycle. We will be turning mason jars into Christmas-themed snow globes!

Join us on Tuesday, December 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at OhioMeansJobs, 941 Market Street, in Piketon. Let's turn trash into treasure and spread holiday cheer through the art of upcycling. Light refreshments will be provided.
