UCE has made an enormous impact in the lives of more than three-quarters of a million people in Africa since its founding in 2004 by Drs. Kim and Ken Dernovsek in Pueblo, Colorado. As an international, pro-life ministry, UCE conducts educational outreaches teaching "A-B-C: Abstinence, Be faithful, thru Christ" always emphasizing forgiveness and starting over anew, for "Our God is a God of second chance!"

UCE has received hundreds of testimonies in Africa from youth, parents, teachers and headmasters, claiming reduced teen pregnancies, improved student academic performance, avoidance of human trafficking and later fulfillment in marriage or religious life. UCE has been featured on EWTN and Global News Alliance.

Q: Does chastity really work?

A: YES. The prevalence of HIV in Uganda has stayed low at 5.5% (2020) whereas in Botswana, utilizing a condom approach, HIV prevalence remains high at 20% (2018).

UCE has played a role in this success since 2004.
