Registration for the Normandy Camporee 2022 will close on March 11 at 11:59 PM CET. If you have not yet completed your registration, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.

If you think you have completed your registration, be sure to log in and check it for completeness. It is essential to have complete information on all participants, including passport / national ID numbers, complete names, an email address and GSM or mobile phone number for each participant. These are all requirements of the French officials, for use in providing the highest level of security and emergency services for our camporee.

BSA International Travel Policy

In March of 2020 the Boy Scouts of America put in place a ban on all international travel due to the risks associated with COVID-19.

While there has not been an official announcement as to the change of policy, you will note that references to international travel restrictions have been removed from the BSA website. Thus international travel is once again an approved activity of the BSA.

Information Square

Perhaps the very first program feature of the Normandy Camporee 2022 that you will encounter is the Information Square. The Square will be located in St Laurent sur Mer, just in front of the iconic Signal Monument and Les Braves sculpture.

Friday from 7:30 PM until 9:00 PM we look forward to welcoming all our camporee participants to explore and learn more about the many unparalleled Scouting opportunities of the Transatlantic Council and programs within our footprint. Meet with the leadership of Camp Avantura BSA, Camp Alpine, and Camp Kenya. Get to know about the programs of Sea Scouting and Venturing, and don't overlook the opportunities to learn more about advanced training opportunities like NYLT and Wood Badge. Will there be Black Eagle Lodge Order of the Arrow items in the Normandy Camporee Trading Post?

YES! In addition to the 2 piece flap and pocket sets that were available as part of the merchandise pre-order, the Lodge leadership has authorized the creation of 5 collector flaps representing the 5 allied nations that were engaged in the D-Day landings. These flaps help commemorate the Normandy Camporee 2022, and will be introduced for sale first time in the on-site Trading Post of the camporee.
