Cub Scouts with Pack 2835 participated in Scouts Trash The Trash Day, picking up trash around their school, Crenshaw Elementary! Look at how many conservation-minded Cubs showed up. Thank you for your service to the community, Scouts, we are so proud of you!
June is Unit Program Planning Party (UP3) Time! UP3 is a yearly event to help unit leadership teams get what they need to deliver fun and exciting activities for their Scouts. This year the Districts are teaming up to provide program stations covering a myriad of topics.
The Virginia Soil & Water Conservation Districts Scout Patch Program is open to Scouts to further their interest and education in conservation topics. Virginia Scouts can follow the instructions linked below to earn a Soil Expert Patch and/or Living in your Watershed patch. There are currently three patches with relevant curriculum to choose from. The details about this fun program can be found on our website, and consider adding this to your Summertime Pack Award plans.
Heart of Virginia Council is excited to offer Day Camp opportunities for Scouts and their friends! Join us for one of three amazing sessions at Deep Run Park, Robious Landing Park, and Point of Rocks Park throughout the summer months. These special week-long events are separate from our renowned Cub Scout Summer Camping at Cub Adventure Camp.
This is the basic Hunter Education Class required by the State of Virginia for all new hunters on May 22nd at Camp T. Brady Saunders. The instructors will be certified Department of Wildlife Resource instructors. This class is open to all Scouts, parents, and family members. The course material is geared toward a sixth-grade level of reading, vocabulary, and comprehension.
It’s graduation season; wear the Eagle Scout Honor Cords proudly on your graduation day, and let everyone see what an amazing accomplishment you have earned! These are red, white, and blue double cords that come with a custom silver metal Eagle charm attached.
