Modulating the DNA Repair Response to Shield Astronauts from Cancer
Devon Lundine is a post-doctoral research fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He completed his doctoral training at the CUNY Graduate Center where he examined DNA replication speeds in triple-negative breast cancers harboring mutant p53 proteins. Currently, he focuses primarily on DNA repair mechanisms and has projects in the radiosensitization of HPV+ cancers, and in radioprotection for astronauts during long-term spaceflight missions.

Currently, Kimberly serves as Executive Vice President of Deep Space Biology, the company behind Yotta™, the first AI platform that bridges space biology data for innovation, Earth R&D, and health discoveries. Additionally, she is the Founder of Space4Girls, a non-profit organization that supports young women around the world to become innovators in the fields of STEM and future leaders within the growing space industry. Space4Girls provides mentorship, educational resources, and opportunities to young women to help them pursue their dreams and achieve success in STEM fields.
Kimberly has an extensive professional background, having served as Founder and CEO of Be Well International and Co-Founder of NorthStar Health & Lumina Healthcare Technology before her current roles. Kimberly is a participant and speaker at global leadership, space, and technology events. She is an annual speaker at the prestigious Leaders on Purpose CEO Summit during the United Nations General Assembly and a regular participant at the World Economic Forum's annual event in Davos. Kimberly holds a BBA degree from the University of Georgia and has received multiple certifications throughout her 20+ years as a wellness and mindfulness educator. In addition to her professional achievements, Kimberly is an advanced open water/ nitrox certified diver and her passion for exploration reflects her commitment to adventure, fearlessness and discovery.
