Celebrate National Public Works Week

From May 21-27, 2023, we proudly celebrate National Public Works Week. Under the theme of "Connecting the World Through Public Works," we celebrate the vital role Public Works employees play in improving the quality of life in our communities. Public Works professionals help build and maintain the “threads” that connect us, regardless of where we reside. They are the silent “connectors” who strengthen our communities by providing vital projects and services in transportation, water management, emergency response, public spaces, waste management, and so much more. During National Public Works Week, if you encounter a public works professional in action, take a moment to thank them for their invaluable contributions.
