Our website for the book fair is https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/KRSbookfair Please note that there’s an option to pay with the Scholastic e-wallet. You can sign up for the e-wallet via the link above. However, it’s important to note that money leftover is not given back, but rather rolled over. As always, cash and checks are accepted. Please note that Monday is only a browsing day for the children. On Monday students will be able to note items of interest and plan for purchases the following day. Parents can purchase during conferences. Please also note that Scholastic does charge tax. So, if a book title is 4.99 that does not account for tax. Therefore, please plan accordingly.

We’d like to take this time to explain the role and value of book bins. At the book fair every teacher has a bin. On Monday teachers will select appropriate titles for their book bins, which will help fill their classroom libraries. You’ll then be able to purchase from the bins and donate the book(s) to the teachers for their classroom communities. This type of giving is incredibly resourceful and beneficial for all involved. Giving the gift of literacy is monumental and beyond measurement. Your consideration is most appreciated. Thank you in advance for supporting our teachers and their classrooms.
Nos gustaría aprovechar este momento para explicar el papel y el valor de las papeleras. En la feria del libro cada profesor tiene una papelera. El lunes los profesores seleccionarán los títulos apropiados para sus librerías, lo que ayudará a llenar las bibliotecas de sus aulas. Luego podrá comprarlos en los contenedores y donarlos a los maestros para sus comunidades de aula. Este tipo de donación es increíblemente ingenioso y beneficioso para todos los involucrados.
