Thank you from Dorothy Rose

Dear Church Family: I was very touched and overwhelmed (in a good way!) by the tremendous outpouring of all my good friends from Lenexa United Methodist Church in honoring my 100th birthday. Thank you for the many thoughtful cards with wonderful inscriptions and well wishes, and for the many who came by the reception or the picnic to share a few words, help with setup and planning, and for getting the kitchen done in plenty of time for us to enjoy such an occasion. I am so thankful for all of you and blessed beyond measure.
 Love and peace,
  Dorothy Rose

“The Lord's Prayer: Thy Will Be Done”
Matthew 6:10b

Unless we are profoundly sure that God is our Father, we will never be able to say, “Thy will be done.” Only if we trust God as our Father can we ask for grace to bear our troubles.
