Community News and Updates

(Through the Extension Racine County)

Join the Extension at Your Local Library this Summer!

The extension is thrilled to offer summer outreach programs at Racine County libraries. Libraries play an important role in building children's early literacy skills. In addition, libraries help to build community, connect families to resources, and offer hours of FREE family fun. Thank you to our libraries for being a valuable community asset!

The extension will offer programs for families with young children focusing on the theme “All Together Now”, which helps children learn how they are important members of the community. Children will enjoy a book and then participate in interactive stations to help build skills such as cooperation and kindness.

Programs will be held from June to August at the Burlington, Racine, Union Grove, and Waterford Libraries. We hope to see you there!

  • Burlington Public Library - 9:30-10:30 AM on June 20, July 18, and August 8
  • Racine Public Library - 10:30-11:30 AM on June 19, July 24, and August 21
  • Union Grove Public Library - 10:00-11:00 AM on July 25
