This Weekend Is Loaded With Auctions
My wife is going on a little working vacation this week so I am left to hold down the fort. The groceries have been ordered and the schedule is written on the fridge. Hopefully I'll continue my string of good days with an early to rise and trips to the Y in the afternoon before dinner. That leaves plenty of time for playing with patches.
I will know in the next few days but I might attend the Atlanta TOR for the first time in many years this month. I have two collections to go look out in GA and if I can line everything up for that Friday it would work. I can potentially bring the brand new inventory to the TOR and try and move some stuff. I'll make a phone call this afternoon to see if I can thread the needle.
In October and November that aren't any shows nearby for me. I attended the NCAP TOR last year and had a good time so I've got that one circled for December. I'm talking to a family in Maryland but I don't know if I can wait that long to get up there and see the collection in person.
Like many of you I lost 4+ hours of my life yesterday watching my favorite college football team in their opening game of the season. As a long suffering SC Gamecock fan I am happy with a win but also reminded how our off season hopes of redemption seem overly rosy as always. I hope your team did well and at least for 1 week you have some bragging rights.
