Congratulations to the following members who were each selected to receive a $1,000 college scholarship from MEMBERS1st! A total of seven scholarships were awarded: two scholarships were awarded to post-high school students who are furthering their educations, and five scholarships were awarded to high school seniors entering college, trade school or a vocational program.
As part of their scholarship application, members were asked to submit a 300-500 word essay detailing what methods they would use to attract and retain credit union members if they were in charge.
“The scholarship essays offered great insight into how MEMBERS1st can best serve our members, now and in the future," said CEO Janet Borer. "We’re very excited to play a role in contributing to the education of our members!”
