Mission: The Stockton Chamber of Commerce is organized to promote economic growth in and around the Village of Stockton by supporting local businesses and special events while encouraging hospitality, beautification, and community pride.
Stockton Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing
We are so excited to announce that the Annual Golf Outing is happening on September May 15th at Woodbend Bend Golf Course.

Includes a 9 hole, best ball golf game, games on the course, an outdoor lunch, drinks to purchase, as well as a silent auction. There will be raffles, prizes, and swag bags too!

Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic
COVID 19- VACCINATION CLINIC: Christ Lutheran Church (600 N Main Street Stockton, Il 61085) will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday, February 19th (and March 12th) from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Pediatric Pfizer (ages 5 to 11), Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J will be available at this clinic. Children need an adult present to receive the shot. Boosters or regular doses are available.

Hoops for Hammann
We are getting excited for Hoops for Hammann which is next Thursday, March 3rd!

Illinois Extension's Spring Break gardening Series
Join University of Illinois Extension staff and volunteers as they present on a variety of topics during this Spring Break Gardening Series. The series will take place on certain Wednesdays in March and April and will be held at either the Jo Daviess County Extension Office, 204 Vine St. Elizabeth, IL 61028 or the Elizabeth Community Building, HWY 20 W. Elizabeth, IL 61028. All programs will start at 1 p.m. Pre-registration is REQUIRED for all events and seating is limited. To register or for more information call the Jo Daviess County Extension Office at 815-858-2273 or visit us online at go.illinois.edu/jsw..The cost of each event will vary.

March 23 – Join University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Madelynn Wilharm for a presentation on Pollinators. This program will be held at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office. This program is being offered free of charge.

March 30 – Join University of Illinois Extension Educator Grant McCarty for a presentation on Totally Tomatoes and Perfect Peppers. This program will be held at the Elizabeth Community Building. There will be a $5 fee to attend this program.

April 13 – Join University of Illinois Extension Program Coordinator Nikki Keltner for a hands on workshop on Spring Centerpieces. This workshop will be held at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office. This workshop will walk you through the basics of cut flower arranging and each participant will create a spring themed centerpiece to take home with them. All materials needed will be provided and the cost of this workshop is $20.

April 20 – Join University of Illinois Extension Educator Jay Solomon for a presentation on Rain Water Management in Your Landscape. This workshop will be held at the Elizabeth Community Building. There will be a $5 fee to attend this program.

April 27 – Join University of Illinois Extension Program Coordinators Nikki Keltner and Alex Burbach for a presentation on Houseplants. This program will be held at the Elizabeth Community Building. Each participant will leave with a houseplant cutting or start. The cost of this program is $10.
Stockton Park District Pool
Any high school student who is interested in lifeguarding at the pool this summer can sign up in the Stockton High School office starting March 7th. If you are not a student of Stockton HS, contact Heather Tessendorf by March 25th.

** Applicant must be 15 years old by 5/23/2022
** Certification classes will take place at our facility in May
** Applicant MUST attend all class times to become certified
