On Wednesday, April 6th, Governor Murphy and Treasurer Muoio announced the launch of FinLit as a way to kick off Financial Literacy Month. FinLit is a free financial wellness platform created to help NJ residents rebuild and plan for their future following the COVID-19 pandemic. Also announced on Wednesday, the NJ Civil Service Commission's approval of the Telework Pilot Program for State Employees. The program was established in an effort to modernize NJ's workplace landscape and address the current needs of the State workforce. The pilot program will be 1 year, with an implementation deadline of July 1, 2022.
This week, public hearings on the State's Fiscal Year 2023 budget continued in the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee and the Assembly Budget Committee. Departmental and agency hearings will continue on Monday, April 11th in the Assembly Budget Committee:
