Do you want to spend some creative time, but can't commit to weekly classes? The Senior Center offers opportunities for beginners and experienced artists to develop painting skills with watercolors, oils and acrylics classes; try sketching; learn about pastels; or work with clay.

These weekly on-going classes do not require pre-registration; Pay the days you attend. $10 per class Seniors (age 50+), $12 Others (age 18-49). Or buy an art card that gives you eight classes for the price of seven. Before joining, visit the class, chat with the instructor, and receive a supply list.

Plans for extensive renovations for the 2nd floor lobby will take additional time, possibly into mid-July. We will try to relocate as many activities that meet in the Auditorium as possible, however there is not adequate space for some activities. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and support of these facility enhancements as we continue to care for and preserve this wonderful building we call our 2nd home.

The Tallahassee Senior Center remains focused on the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff. Participants may continue to wear a mask if they prefer, but not required to wear a mask at the TSC or our neighborhood program sites.

In order to promote a safe environment, please follow the guidelines below while participating at the Tallahassee Senior Center, its satellite program sites, or an offsite activity.
Please do not attend classes, activities, or events if you have:
*Tested Positive for COVID-19
*Known exposure to someone with COVID-19, or
*Any of the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. 

If you have one or more of the above, click on the link below to determine when it is safe for you to return to our programs.
