Atonement is putting together a new team that will explore what it means and looks like to embody welcoming every person, both inside our church and out. Part of what J.E.E.P. Pastor Jordan is looking for individuals to join this ministry. If you would like to join this team or want more information, please email Pastor Jordan.

"GOD'S WORK. OUR HANDS" 2024
Since 2013, thousands of ELCA congregations have participated in God's work. Our hands. each year by gathering to serve communities in ways that share the love of God with all of God’s people. This emphasis has quickly become an anticipated way to be “church together” and “church for the sake of the world.”
Regardless of how an individual congregation participates, the service activities they participate in offer an opportunity for each of us to explore one
of our most basic convictions as Lutherans:
“All of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.”
Join Atonement and other ELCA congregations worldwide as we serve with others and share God’s love & grace with our community!

50TH ANNIVERSARY ELCA WORLD HUNGER
SPECIAL OFFERING
“As we have worked to transform the world with and for our neighbors through ELCA World Hunger over the last 50 years, together we have learned how hunger, poverty and other justice issues intersect. We have deepened our understanding of how baptism calls us to strive for justice and peace in all the earth.”
WE ARE CALLED – to be part of the story for their next 50 years together – boldly and hopefully pursuing God’s promise of a just world where all are fed. This story is one of God at work through each of us around the world, creating sustainable, lasting change. It is a story of new homes being built, of new fields being planted with crops. It is a story of wells bubbling with clean water and of small businesses bursting with opportunity. It is a story of caring for the environment and of healthy communities thriving.
During September, you are invited to support this ministry with a special offering shared during Atonement’s worship services or online at www.atoneluth.org/give. Learn more about ELCA World Hunger on their website: www.elca.org/worldhunger.
