This Weekend & The Week Ahead | |
Labor Day Worship
Sunday, 8:00 & 10:30 AM
It's the final Sunday before our fall program kicks off! The Handbell Choir will resume their rehearsals following the 10:30 AM service from 12:00 - 1:30 PM. The church office will be closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call the church office at 719-598-3244 to speak to the on-call clergy.
Lord on this Labor Day, we thank You for the blessing of work.
We ask for strength to complete each day.
We ask for rest when we are weary.
We ask Your guidance for everyone seeking employment,
and we ask that You be with those whose faces we might never see but who work tirelessly each day for the good of us all. Amen.

Owen Copps
Next Step & Seminary Fund
We have been blessed since 2021 with a wonderfully gifted Director of Children, Youth, and Young Adult Ministries. Owen has actively been involved in the discernment process for ordination to the priesthood over the past two years. The next steps of his discernment process will take him away from St. Michael’s, and his last Sunday will be October 6. As is customary for a church that sponsors a seminarian, St. Michael's has established a Next Step & Seminary Fund to support Owen. To make a contribution, please do so by October 1 by including "Owen Seminary Fund" on the check memo or CLICK HERE to access our giving portal. Select "Non-Pledge Contribution" and in the note field please indicate "Owen Seminary Fund.” Join us on October 6 when Owen will be preaching, and we take time to wish Owen well and celebrate his ministry time at St. Michael's.
