Abraham and Sarah's impatience in waiting for God's promise led to complications with Hagar and Ishmael. This story serves as a powerful reminder of the consequences of taking matters into our own hands rather than trusting in God's

perfect timing.

This week, the lesson focuses on faith, patience and the assurance that God's plans are always better than our own. Join us this Sunday for the second week of our Family Drama series.

Jeff Kersey, Senior Pastor, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Bill Bouknight, Retired GMC Guest Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.

For those worshiping remotely, you're invited to watch our services online, on Facebook and YouTube.

Exciting Renovation

Many of you may have noticed the Chapel on the corner of Foxglen and Old Cherokee looks a bit different. We are excited to be renovating and restoring this historic building back to the beautiful Chapel it once was. Construction began last week and the plans are to be finished in the next couple of months. We had hoped to be able to salvage the stained glass from the original windows but unfortunately asbestos has made that impossible. The very large stained glass window of Jesus will remain at the back of the Chapel. Our hope is to provide a beautiful space for smaller weddings, funerals and worship services. If you have any questions about the renovation, please contact us. Click here to see a couple of elevation plans.
