An Easy Way to Grow Your Donor Base

In fundraising, relationships are everything. One simple way to stand out in the minds of donors is to keep up to date about developments in their world. Set up a Google alert for their name. Keep track of news through personal connections. When you hear of something exciting for them, show thoughtfulness with a hand-written note or a phone call. They’ll be touched and you’ll have a relationship to stand on next time a fundraising campaign comes around.
