WKCC Urban Whitewater Adventure Paddle

Ready to rumble the rapids on YOUR Willamette River?
Saturday, July 16th - Join Willamette Kayak and Canoe Club for a full-day whitewater adventure on the urban Willamette riverfront from Clearwater Park Island Park in Springfield to Valley River Center, in Eugene.

WE WILL BE LAUNCHING FROM CLEARWATER PARK AT 10AM.

If you need a shuttle, please drop your boat off at Clearwater Park and meet at 9:00AM at Valley River for a shuttle to the put-in at Clearwater Park. Look for the group of boaters, and we’ll arrange a shuttle from there.

If you already have a shuttle in place, please be ready to get on the water no later than 9:45AM at the Clearwater Park boat ramp parking lot. WKCC will facilitate introductions, safety overview, and group itinerary for the day. Plan for about 4 hours, with a lunch break.

All participants should be comfortable paddling in Class II water. Rafts and driftboats welcome, PFDs and helmets (for small watercraft) are required. Appropriate watercraft only – any inflatable kayak or packraft should be mult-chambered, no innertubes or float toys please.
