EDID Awareness Week recordings available

The inaugural EDID Awareness Week was a great success as Western, King’s, Brescia and Huron came together to host 20 events during the first part of October. During the week, there was a focus on the importance of decolonization, the realities of racism, disability rights, celebrating our 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and shining a light on other equity-denied groups. If you missed the King’s hosted events, you can find the recordings here!

New video series raises voices of equity-denied groups

Breaking Barriers is a video series created by King’s graduate, Moses Latigo Odida ‘09, in partnership with the Office of EDID as a result of the recommendations from the Anti-Racism Working Group Report. The video series will tell the story of equity-denied groups at King’s and will help amplify their voices. The first in this series is Microaggressions, which tells the stories of five members of the King’s community in an honest and thought-provoking video.
