BLUE BELL, PA: Mainstay Engineering Group, Inc. was recognized for its work on the Tyndall Air Force Base Hangar Door Modification project at the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers’ (DVASE) annual awards dinner. The dinner, which took place on May 18^th, 2022, recognizes firms for their Excellence in Structural Engineering. The project received the Merit Award for Outstanding Structural Engineering in the Other Structures Over $1Million category.

Tyndall Air Force Base tasked the project team with providing support for two new hangar doors. Mainstay partnered with Kezlo Group, LLC, the prime professional. Mainstay was the Engineer of Record for both civil and structural design. Tyndall Air Force base is located in Panama City, FL.

The Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers (DVASE) consists of top firms and individual engineers from across the southeastern, Pennsylvania. DVASE was established in 1991 by a small group of local consultants. They met monthly primarily to discuss business and liability issues, with an emphasis on improving the quality of structural engineering services and promoting professionalism and the image of structural engineers.
