Welcome to LCCC! I am very excited to meet you and will be your academic advisor. I am also here to guide you through your next steps! 

As a Retention Specialist, I advise students in numerous majors as well as help any LCCC student with issues or concerns that arise during their time at LCCC by problem solving and connecting them to any available staff or resources that may help. My priority is to help you succeed in your program and reach your career goals. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you have.  

Next Steps Checklist

Step 1: Placement Test Taken or SAT or ACT scores sent

• SAT: 500 Verbal and 450 Math required to be exempt from placement test
• ACT: 20 English and 21 Math required to be exempt from placement test

Step 2: LCCC email account set up

• If you are having difficulty please call help desk at 570-740-0711.

Please note: your placement test must complete OR your Official SAT or ACT scores must be received by Admissions before attending Orientation

Step 3: Attended Orientation Session and Registered for Classes

• Orientation is required for first time students.
• At Orientation I will have a tentative schedule for your approval. If modifications are needed, please call 570-740-0452 to schedule an appointment.
• To be eligible to finalize your registration, you must have completed a Placement test or have submitted Official SAT or ACT scores. If you are applying to a Health Science Program (Nursing, Dental, Surgical Tech, Respiratory Therapy), you must also submit Official High School Transcripts from every high school you have attended.
