Mega-Conference: Connections, transformation and embracing opportunities
As Grant Moise, CEO of the Dallas News Corporation and publisher of The Dallas Morning News, noted in a welcome address to the more than 350 attendees at this week's Mega-Conference, "this industry matters." During times when business models are in a state of transition, he said "learning from one another is the most valuable."

He encouraged conference attendees to focus on the opportunities, not the hurdles. "When we think optimistically, great things happen," he said. "When we focus on the hurdles, nothing happens."
