Healthy Eating begins with healthy foods!
Help to spread the word about healthy eating this summer by shopping and cooking with your favorite fruits and veggies from your local farmers market.

Kids Cooking Green loves to visit the following markets.
What is your favorite farmers market and what do you buy there? Let us know if you shop at a local market on Thursday, Friday or Saturday! And what is in season at your market this week. In Lexington we had fiddlehead ferns, and asparagus! Click on for a simple quick recipe.

If we could, we would shop every day!

Kids Cooking Green's Lori Deliso has a backyard bee hive and has been enthralled by her pollinator friends!

Here are a few updates from the hive: the hive is healthy with over 10,000 bees now, and growing.

The bees are collecting pollen and building the comb to store honey!
We look forward to harvesting the honey and cooking with it this fall.
