March 2022
President's Message
We have developed our proposed slate of officers to plan and execute our events and activities for the upcoming program year. See the Proposed Slate of Board Members section below.

We plan to begin voting on the proposed slate on March 9, 2022. If you would like to serve or nominate someone, please email me at President@imanationscapital.org by March 7, 2022. Keep in mind that many board members begin in a supporting role. Current board members have experience with several positions and will be ready to help you learn more about our local and global IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants)

During February, we continued our commitment to providing informative webinars on pressing topics and we conducted a session on the importance of economic development. About 70 participants joined us as we learned how IMA members can contribute to and benefit from local economic development.

Also, many of our members are taking advantage of the no cost or very affordable NASBA CPE opportunities. Visit the new technology and analytics center  to explore course offerings and especially the very popular IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate. Once you register for the certificate, you have one year to complete the 9 credits of CPE and earn the credential. IMA Global also provides no cost ethics courses for members. Use this link https://www.imanet.org/membership/benefits?ssopc=1 to learn more about the many benefits of IMA membership and please share the link with others.

Take advantage of opportunities to encourage students to join our enthusiastic community. IMA membership enhances your resume and helps you build a great networking platform. Members can use the information found at https://www.imanet.org/students/student-membership?ssopc=1 to urge students to join.

Best wishes as our new year continues and we look forward to warmer weather and spring blossoms!
