Are You Ready to Push Action and Accelerate Solutions for Climate Change?

Chip Comins

CEO, American Renewable Energy Institute

What does it mean to have Global Security in 2023? The challenges of humanity and life on Earth are ever escalating, and range from the threat of nuclear war to precious Arctic ice melting along with the Greenland Ice Sheet and the Antarctic.

Oceans are acidifying and over half of the world’s coral reef has bleached due to a warming world. Species and habitat loss are rampant. The solutions are front and center, and at the American Renewable Energy Institute, we focus on 10% of the problem and pursue 90% of the solution. Our annual AREDAY Summit is an invitation to join us in exploring solutions and collaborations on how to act.

Later this year, we will once again gather the world’s leading minds and innovators for four days of discussions and deliberations to tackle solutions to these very pressing issues. While the life support systems of Mother Earth are crashing, we must press on to the possible. Solutions abound, from finance and soil regeneration to creating carbon markets and “mining the sky”; from the new carbon economy to saving the wild intelligence of the deep blue sea. They are everywhere. We have only to implement, accelerate and replicate.

The questions are: do we have what it takes, and the will to make it happen - in time? We hope to announce the details for this year's AREDAY Summit soon, and we hope you'll join us — to become part of the solution.
