First days of school filled with fun


Class has been back in session for most Poudre School District students for a week. Already, the school year is off to an amazing start. Watch this video recap on YouTube with memorable moments from the first days of school.>>

Attendance Counts! Goal of 95% attendance


Time in school matters to a student's academic and social success. Missing even a couple days of school each month is enough to lose out on more than 10% of instructional time. That's why PSD is encouraging all students to make it a habit of coming to school as much as possible. Learn more about the importance of regular attendance on the PSD website.>>

Building mental health support and awareness


This year, PSD is expanding the Colorado State University Masters of Social Work partnership to include both interns and fellows (pictured above) and rolling out new mental health posters, cards, and bulletins designed with the help of more than 200 PSD students and counselors. The Board of Education is considering placing a mill levy question on the November ballot. The proposed measure would generate funding for maintenance and free up existing funding to invest in classrooms, curriculum materials, teachers, and small schools.
