Governor Henry McMaster to Proclaim April as Innovation Awareness Month in S.C. on Monday

South Carolina is home to exciting innovators who are helping to shape the future of our state and the nation. To help celebrate these innovations, Governor Henry McMaster is proclaiming April as Innovation Awareness Month in South Carolina, effective Monday, April 3rd, at the S.C. Statehouse at 2:00 p.m. South Carolina innovators and entrepreneur startups stemming from the founding partners will be present to showcase and demonstrate their exciting innovations. Read more.

SCRA Helps Bring European Bike Manufacturer to South Carolina

South Carolina Research Authority collaborated with the Clemson University Composites Center, One Spartanburg, and the South Carolina Department of Commerce to bring TIME Bicycles to Landrum, South Carolina. TIME was founded in 1987, and its products became popular in the early 1990s with endorsements from Tour de France winners Pedro Delgado, Greg LeMond, and Miguel Indurain. Read more.

Vizbii, an SC Launch Inc. Portfolio Company, is supporting the critical effort to get quality internet access to all South Carolinians through the GetConnectedSC campaign.The GetConnectedSC campaign is designed to identify the areas of greatest need in our state, invest in broadband infrastructure to those areas and provide support services to make that transformation possible for every home, business and community organization in South Carolina.
