A Note from Diane C. Holliman at the Death of Her Husband Halim

I was so touched by your cards, notes and remembrances. You have warmed my heart and filled me with so much joy these past few weeks.

I want to invite each of you and your loved ones to our Celebration of Life for Halim on Saturday, May 13, at 6pm at the Unitarian Church located at 1951 E Park Ave, Valdosta, GA 31602.

Halim loved opera, and at this celebration Dr. Tamara Hardesty and her students will perform to celebrate Halim's life!

Halim also loved great coffee and tea, and we will do our best to prepare coffee and tea in a way that Halim would love. We will also have heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts, and lots of time for sharing to celebrate this wonderful human!

Obituary for Halim Adib Faisal can be found here.

A Prayer for Ukraine
God of peace and justice, we pray for the people of Ukraine today. We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons. We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them. We pray for those with power over war or peace for wisdom, discernment, and compassion to guide their decisions. Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear, that you would hold and protect them. We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
Amen.
