Free Colorectal Cancer Test Kits

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and one of the ways HMAA supports members’ health is by providing FREE at-home test kits to screen for colorectal cancer. Although it is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., colon cancer can be cured if caught early.

HMAA offers free kits to members between ages 45 and 75 who have not had a sigmoidoscopy in the last 5 years, a colonoscopy in the last 10 years, or an at-home test in the last 12 months according to our records. Eligible members may request a kit online or contact our Wellness team. 

Beginning April 1, 2023, the Active&Fit Direct monthly fee will increase from $25 to $28 (plus applicable taxes). The increase helps Active & Fit to continue offering this fantastic program with a robust network of gyms while still maintaining competitive pricing for our members.

For existing Active&Fit Direct members, the new fee will automatically begin with their March payment for April.
