But, the one thing that is constant for all is how you choose to prepare the night before the first day of school. The best ways to prepare for the first day of school the night before may sound cliché, but when applied, they can alter more than just your first successful day of school.

MESA provides support services for underrepresented students pursuing degrees in calculus-based STEM majors through specialized academic advising, community building, tutoring, supplies, and more! Do you identify as a 1st generation college student? Are you eligible to receive need-based financial aid? Are you looking to transfer to a four-year university for your 1st bachelor's degree? Are you in a calculus-based STEM major at Coastline? If you answered yes to all of these questions, you are eligible to apply to MESA! Complete the Interest Form and we will reach out to you with more information.
Coastline's Associated Student Government (ASG) serves as the official voice of the student body and provides opportunities to learn about governance, advocacy, leadership, and event planning. In the Fall semester, meetings will be held every Wednesday from 9-10:30am in a hybrid format via Zoom and at the Student Services Center. All are welcome! Want to join this dedicated team of student leaders? Current open positions include Vice President, Secretary, Commissioner of Public Relations, Newport Beach Campus Senator, Westminster Le-Jao Campus Senator, Distance Learning Senator, Military Senator, Equity Senator, Legislative Affairs Senator, and Committee Representative. Apply to join the ASG today! Applications submitted by August 27th will be considered for appointment at the first ASG meeting of the semester, held on Wednesday, August 28th from 9-10:30am. Need books for classes? Check to see if you qualify for a book voucher, today! The Dolphin Assistance Program (DAP) book voucher is awarded to eligible students in Fall, Spring, and Summer terms based on program funding availability, student program eligibility and financial aid eligibility. Students participating in the Book Voucher program agree to return their books to the Basic Needs Office at the conclusion of the semester. The books will be donated to the Coastline book borrowing program. Students must participate in one workshop and complete a follow up survey. If you have any questions, please email studentequity@coastline.edu or visit the Textbook Assistance webpage for more information.

Food assistance, low cost prescriptions, transportation, housing assistance and more. You can access free or low cost services through the TimelyCare app. Signing up is easy.
