Principal's Message

Dear Miramonte Community,

Today, all five members of the Acalanes Union High School District Governing Board (Kristin Connelly, Christopher Grove, Bob Hockett, Chris Severson, and Nancy Kendzierski) were on campus for several hours to observe classes, and have conversations with our students and staff.

Board members also observed today’s Academy Cohort, which was focused on giving students an opportunity to reflect on, share, and give feedback about their experiences with Connection, Equity, and Wellness this year at Miramonte. Each quarter, we are taking some time to hold these Academy Cohorts so that we can listen to our students and better understand their needs in these areas. As I’ve mentioned before, we know from loads of research and experience that students do better academically when they feel connected, valued, included, and well. My hope is that this work will result in further academic excellence, and a more positive and healthy social-emotional experience for all students.

Thank you to our highly engaged and dedicated Governing Board for visiting Miramonte, and to all of our students for their great participation today. See you at tonight’s PINK OUT football game, have a great weekend, and GO MATS!

Mr. Ben Campopiano

Miramonte Fundraising

Thank you to the 492 families and community members who have donated to ONE-Miramonte this school year! The financial support you give to our school goes a long way to supplement what state funding alone would afford. Because you give, you help fund a rich, well-rounded education for our students at one of the best high schools in the state.

If you see the families who are listed in the link below, be sure to thank them, and if you haven’t given yet this year, please join these families and support 100% of Miramonte students. We need every family’s support this year to meet our ambitious 2022-23 budget goals and our promise to our students.

If you believe you have donated and you don’t see your name listed, or if you are listed incorrectly, please contact the Fundraising Team.

National Principals Month 🎉 shoutout 🎉 to PRINCIPAL BEN CAMPOPIANO!

While we appreciate “Mr. C” all year long, this month is a perfect opportunity for us to honor his dedication and thank him for the leadership he provides to our Miramonte community. Principal Campopiano goes above and beyond every day to ensure the success of every Miramonte student.

We asked Principal Campopiano what he hopes our MHS graduates take into the world with them:

“I hope that our grads leave Miramonte and head into the world with confidence in themselves, excitement for the road ahead, and gratitude for those that helped them along the way. Confident because they feel ready, equipped, and prepared for what's to come and how to navigate it. Excited because they have a deep desire to positively impact the world. And grateful because they understand the support they've received from family, friends, coaches, mentors, and educators along the way. Go Mats!”

Thanks for all you do, Mr. C.! We appreciate you. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
