CENTER STAGE

During this past year, 3 members of our IHMS community participated in the Cincinnati Junior Wind Ensemble for CCM (Cincinnati Conservatory of Music). These students auditioned for their places and have worked hard all year long, learning difficult music and working with students from different schools. Their time with Jr. CYWE culminated in their final performance, which took place on Tuesday, May 2. Congratulations to 8th grade students Mina Hagopian and Jane Holbrook, and 6th grade student Kyler Zhang!

MARQUEE MOMENT

Indian Hill High School celebrated students who are planning for futures in the arts and military during the third-annual Arts and Military Signing Ceremony on Wednesday, May 10. Twelve students preparing for studies within the arts and military took center stage at the Indian Hill High School Auditorium with friends and family in the audience cheering them on.

The Class of 2023 students being celebrated included:

· Emery Maelee Cunningham, Musical Theatre, Boston Conservatory at Berklee

· Jozzy Faber, Architecture with a minor in Visual Culture, Syracuse University

· Min Jae Kim, United States Marine Corps, Ohio State University

· Joseph Francisco Kayne Double Major in History and Music, Yale University

· Joshua Knehans, Vocal Performance, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

· Marko Petrovic, Music, Media, and Enterprise Minor, the Ohio State University

· Alex Rozakis, Moving Image Production/Screenwriting, the Ohio State University
