Dear Church family,

God has always encouraged his people to fully train and equip future generations for a life of faithfulness, asking his people to teach their children and generations after them about the story of God’s people. The most famous example of this in Scripture may be in Deuteronomy 6:7 where Moses instructs the people to, “impress [these commandments] on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Jesus also says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” in Matthew 19:14.

At our Town Hall meeting on April 27, Cheryl Calvin spoke about her desire to see her children and their generation as well as the generations after them coming to church. Watch what she had to say below:

Just as Cheryl is focused on providing opportunities for her children and grandchildren to come to church, so too is The Hills. They announced last year that their vision for the next 5 years is to Ask for Nations and Generations. They want to be a church for future generations.

One ministry that does this is Royal Family Kids Camp that both Skillman and The Hills support currently through the non-profit organization Our Father’s Children. Watch this video below about Brogan and Laurie and what a difference God can make in the lives of all generations.

Voting Procedure Update

We also want to remind you that mail-in ballots must be received in the office of Guest and Gray Law Firm by no later than Friday, June 10. If you plan to return your mail-in ballot, please place three stamps on the larger envelope with the Secrecy envelope contained within to return to their office. Additionally, Elizabeth Alvarez, our voting expert with Guest and Gray, has provided these details to inform us of what will take place on June 12 during the meeting of the members.

As we approach June 12, we continue to encourage you to be in prayer for our church, for our community, and for what God can do to help us reach the generations with his message.

In His Service,

Craig, David and Shane
