"Just finished up this 12’ x 12’ abstract and really enjoyed painting something different. I added luminous colors from Holbien on the apples and grapes. First time I used them. They don’t paint well over other colors, and it’s amazing how drab the normal Holbein colors are when side by side with the luminous; this surprised me.
"I changed a few things besides the luminous colors - I left off the spider, didn't add the orange color stripe to the shadow, and added a stem to the other yellow/green apple.
"Any suggestions or insights? Abstracts were one of the painting styles I was interested in exploring more. You have so much variety to explore. I love it!!! Thank you so much for this.
"Next is cowboy portrait or Derwent Inktense pencil tutorials."

What are those tickets in the bowl?
We will give anyone a "ticket" in the bowl for every $25 donation received during the quarter. This quarter is from March 1st to May 31st.
Once the quarter ends, we gather all donations. For every $25 donated in that period, we assign a ticket number to the respective donor.
During a live YouTube show, we will conduct the drawing, where the first person chosen gets to pick the first painting from the available options for the quarter. Although a donor may hold multiple tickets, they can only win one painting per quarter. To make donations, please use the links down below, or you can find them on the homepage of AcrylicPaintingWithGingerCook.com.
