Our parish website will get an "Easter makeover"! The current website is on an outdated platform that has limited options for design, interaction, and media formats. We have a new website that is ready to go, and we'll switch over after Easter. Because we will be changing the platform behind the website, it will require pulling the current site offline then redirecting our URL to the new site. That process can take 36-48 hours. So after Easter, you may notice the parish website will not load, and you may even get a "404 Website Not Found" error message. That is just temporary and will resolve once the new site is connected and goes online.
We are excited that the new platform will allow greater incorporation of pictures and video clips and will interface more easily with our social media pages, facebook and instagram. Soon we will also migrate our livestream from facebook and imbed it in our own website and mirror it on YouTube. We are so very grateful for the incredible talent and weekly gifts of time from our livestream crew, Scott Rowell, Jason Startt, Dale Bronk, and Aiden Barnard. I know they'd love to have more volunteers - reach out to the folks in the booth any Sunday to learn more.
Of course these kinds of major transitions are never without some glitches, but we are doing everything we can to minimize the downtime and make for a smooth transition. Stay tuned for more updates once our new site goes live!
