The Masonry Society and sponsors are preparing for a Virtual Masonry Educators' Workshop (MEW) on June 21-23. The workshop is targeted towards professors and educators teaching undergraduate and graduate design and construction management classes on masonry, and seeks to assist them on teaching future designers and construction professionals.

Topics will include Innovative Approaches to Education, Masonry Design and Detailing, Designing for Constructability, and much more.

The Masonry Society is preparing for productive, educational, and enjoyable meetings in Denver, Colorado on October 12 through 15. Additional information will be sent on the meetings later this summer, but presently, TMS is considering presentation proposals for its educational sessions on October 13. Presentations are typically 17 minutes in length (allowing for introductions and questions and answers). If you would like to submit a proposal, click here no later than May 20, 2022. Presentations may not be promotional and should be of interest to those wishing to learn more about the design, construction, evaluation, or repair of masonry. A selection committee will consider proposals and will notify accepted presenters this summer.

Papers are invited for the 14th North American Masonry Conference (NAMC), which will be held from June 11-14, 2023, in the heart of historic Old Market in Omaha, Nebraska. The conference is being jointly hosted by the Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and the Nebraska Masonry Alliance (NMA), and is offered by The Masonry Society (TMS) with the support of a number of Sponsors. The conference seeks to provide a forum for sharing the latest advances in masonry knowledge and applications from around the world. Papers are sought on a wide variety of masonry topics.
