Dear Parents,
Yesterday, we collected over $160 for Iro, the Fond Du Lac County K9. Police Chief Andrea will be coming next week to take the donations to Iro's handler. We will have our donation jar here through Monday in case anyone is still interested in donating. Our Fond Du Lac County K9 Unit is strictly funded through donations so if you want to donate, please send it no later than Monday.
Great job selling Pizzas!! Total sales came in at just under $29,000! Our profit has not been determined yet but this is the total sales without the cost of items. Thank you for doing such a great job. Pizza pick up will be on Saturday, November 11th from 11am-1pm. We want to bring back pizza making for our Spring sale, however, we need 100% participation from our families to make this happen. These pizzas cost less with a larger profit margin and the camaraderie in working together is so worth the effort. Please help us make this happen!
Grandparents Day Update!! As a staff we have decided to have a half day of school on Grandparents Day, Friday, November 17th. Students are expected to be here from arrival time until 12:30pm dismissal time. Some grandparents travel a distance to be here and we want to maximize the time they spend with their grandchildren. If your child does not have grandparents coming, please ask a special family friend, uncle, aunt etc.. to be here with them. We want every child to have at least 1 person with them. Miss Tammy is making a special meal for grandparents/special friends so make sure to get those RSVP's in. If your child children are going to need daycare after 12:30pm dismissal, please let us know so we can staff appropriately.
Mark your calendars for St. Matt's Market on Saturday, November 25th! This was a great event last year and we are so excited to be doing it again. We still have room for some more sellers so if you or someone you know is interested in a booth, please let us know by Monday, October 23rd!
We are also hosting a Santa Breakfast on Sunday, December 10th. All proceeds will go to our daycare/school renovations. We will have elves, raffle baskets, Santa pictures and good ole' family time! Join us please!
Please note: we will be going to mass on Wednesday, November 1st in honor of All Saints Day. We are not attending/planning mass on Tuesday, October 31st. In memory of our loved ones who have passed, we will have an "All Souls Day" Memory Tree displayed in the church. Please fill out the All Souls Day forms that have been sent home with your child today so that we can add your loved ones to our tree.
Classroom Halloween parties will be held on Friday, October 27th at 1:30pm. Students may bring their costumes to school and change into them at 1:00pm for an all school costume parade! Blood, weapons, and inappropriate costumes are prohibited.
We will be having a Home & School meeting next Tuesday, October 24th at 6pm in the daycare room. Please join us!
