Camden is Blooming this weekend
Camden is Blooming will take place from Friday, May 13 through Sunday, May 15. The festivities will kick off on Friday morning with sidewalk sales throughout the downtown area. Browse the sidewalk tables for merchandise at bargain prices, and then go inside the shops for a look at the season’s new offerings. The Chamber's Camden Information Center will be open this weekend, 10 Am to 4 PM each day. Stop in to say hello!
The Gala is May 20 - Get your tickets today!
Please join us next Friday evening at the Samoset Resort for our annual Gala Awards Dinner as we celebrate and recognize those who have made extraordinary contributions to our region in the past year.

The evening will start at 5:00 with a Social Hour (held outdoors if weather permits), followed by Dinner Seating in the Ballroom at 6:30, Year in Review and Award Presentation at 8:00, capping off with dancing and music provided by DJ Dan Miller at 9:00.

Please note: The CDC is currently recommending masking in indoor public settings in Knox County.

Chamber Auction is June 22

The Chamber is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a live and silent auction on Wednesday, June 22, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM, at Rock Harbor Tap Room in Rockland. Tickets will be $10 per person in advance; $15 per person at the door. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and drinks will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from this auction will support the Chamber's economic development and tourism promotion activities.  

We are currently seeking items valued at $1,000 or more for our live auction and items valued at $100 or more for our silent auction. If you are interested in donating an item to the auction, please email jodie@healaccounting.com. Thank you for your support!

Small Business, Big Impact: DEI For Small Business

Join in to hear and share creative views on how Maine’s small businesses can build diverse and inclusive communities. No business is too small to bring diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to their workplace.

CEI Women’s Business Center is hosting this panel discussion that will focus on Maine’s small businesses, from solopreneurs to employers with less than 20 employees. We will discuss the challenges and opportunities for small businesses to create diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environments. We will hear from small business owners on how they found creative ways to bring DEI to their business and how DEI has impacted the landscape of their industries and communities. More...
The Chamber is Hiring Seasonal Staff
The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is currently hiring for part time seasonal staff for our Information Centers in Camden and Rockland. Duties include greeting visitors and answering questions about local businesses and attractions, answering phone and email inquiries, preparing mailings, and restocking rack cards. Schedule would be 3 or 4 days per week, and includes weekend hours.
