Open at 10:00 am on Friday, March 11, 2022 | |
Dear Readers,
The Library will be partnering with the the Town of Boone this year as it turns 150. We will host a number of local authors at the main library who have written about the town and region. We begin with Dr. Tom Whyte, author of "Boone before Boone: The Archaeological Record of Northwestern North Carolina Through 1769". He will give a talk on Saturday, March 26 at 10 am. The program will be hybrid so one can RSVP to receive the Zoom link to attend remotely via Facebook.
We are limiting the in-person attendance to 30 for safety. Masks are still required in the building and the meeting room.
CLICK HERE FOR GOOGLE FORM TO RSVP and attend in person.
The Library has copies of the book in our collection or you can pick up a Read and Share copy.
