March Hope-Mongering session topic:

Beta Cell Replacement: a Visit from a Cornell Researcher
Meet biomaterials scientist Alexander Ernst from the Minglin Ma Lab at Cornell University.

Ernst is part of a team working in a new frontier of T1D therapy, developing methods for replacing missing beta cells with new insulin producing cells.

This "Hope-mongering" parent support session is March 17 at 7pm hosted on Zoom.
A moment from our previous session with Dr. Amy Stoeber. Sometimes the sessions feel like a presentation, sometimes an interview, sometimes a panel, but always a conversation.
About Hope-Mongering:

Each month we recruit an array of key voices to host a series of conversations: parents, young adults who grew up with T1D, health coaches, educators, dietitians, T1D doctors and nurses, and of course the GCC summer camp crew.

It's a magic formula for conversation on raising a young person with T1D. We'd love for you to join us and add your voice, or just sit back and listen. Feel free to bring topics or questions.
