May 2023 Newsletter

This month our Instructional Corner gives some suggestions for your consideration this summer as you prepare to meet the ever increasing social emotional demands of your students in the 2023-24 school year.

Looking for a way to get a robust conversation going with your colleagues? Take the quiz in our Leadership Corner on Myths and Truths together and see what productive conversations and debates follow.

For further leadership insight, check out our interview with Julie Craven, an experienced and successful school leader. See what new leadership insights she gained when long COVID kept her out of the building for extended periods.

Lastly, our summer open courses, including our core courses and several new workshops, are filling up. Check them out and register today to ensure your spot!

Instructional Corner

Watch

In this month’s interview RBT Consultant, Reena Freedman speaks with School Leader Julie Craven about how the many leadership lessons that her bout with long COVID has brought to light.  While Julie's school had many distributed leadership protocols in place, her illness allowed her to identify additional ways to make processes more transparent and to build on compassion and connection within the school community.
