MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

The Men’s Welcome Experience is this weekend on our campus. Please keep the giving team and those who will be attending this retreat experience in your prayers. May God bless their efforts and preparation so that each of them may encounter Jesus as they need.

As part of our observance for Respect Life Month, I encourage you to join in the 40 Days for Life prayer campaign by praying four minutes each day. It kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25. We are also taking up a collection of basic necessity items for newborns and infants in support of the women assisted by the Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center and the Lifehouse Maternity Home. Collection bags will be in the gathering space this weekend. Thanks for your support!

Thank you for your generous response to my request in the State of the Parish homily! You will see one time gifts and increased stewardship reflected in our weekly financial reporting. We have expanded our weekly numbers to include a more accurate picture of our needs, including our debt. I am grateful!

Finally, as part of our expense reduction efforts, we will have a new mass streaming schedule that will include the 11:00 a.m. mass on Sunday, special sacramental celebrations, and holy days of obligation. We will discontinue streaming the Saturday and Sunday evening masses, as well as, our regular daily masses. My apologies for any inconvenience and I appreciate your understanding as we continue to discern additional ways to reduce expenses. Thank you.

May all of our hearts be open this week to the grace and blessing of the love we share with family and friends!

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
