High Five Habit #1: RESPECT

Dear Amana Families:

Amana has always prided itself on being a good neighbor to the community at large, and we don’t want to jeopardize that track record by giving a negative first impression to our newest neighbors. We have been contacted several times in recent weeks by residents of the new Villa Magnolia housing development going in next door. Residents have reported negative interactions with drivers coming from our parking lot and using the exit from the subdivision to turn onto Main Street. While we can’t control thru-traffic from non-Amana drivers, we do ask that Amana families avoid using this as a means to exit the parking lot during morning and afternoon carpool.

What to do: If your commute requires you to turn right onto Main Street when exiting the parking lot, please use the entrance between the pharmacy and the bank. If you need to head left on Main Street, please utilize the Roswell Street entrance, take a right out of the parking lot, and then a left on Main Street at the light; or, alternately, you can take a left onto Roswell Street and then a right onto Old Milton to access Main Street, 400, etc.

To reiterate - please avoid cutting through the Villa Magnolia subdivision during your morning and afternoon commute.  If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for helping us be good neighbors!
Title 1 Input Meeting

Thank you to all the families that attended our Title 1 Input Meeting yesterday. If you were unable to join us, we encourage you to look over the presentation from yesterday. CLICK HERE to access it. It describes the objectives of the meeting and provides information on Amana's School Compact and Parent and Family Engagement Plan.

Your feedback is important to us! We'd love to have more families complete the input surveys. Use the links below to access them. Students can also use the same links to give their feedback if they haven't done so already!
