“An Afternoon on the Isle”

Schedule of Activities:

11:30 am - Dossin Great Lakes Museum, 100 Strand Drive, Belle Isle, Detroit, MI

The Dossin Museum is family friendly, interactive, and showcases the story of the Great Lakes with special emphasis on Detroit’s role in regional and national maritime history.

Admission is complimentary and our private event will be held in DeRoy Hall.

Passed Hors D’Oeuvres: vegetable spring rolls, lime cilantro chicken micro tacos, halibut micro tacos, coconut shrimp skewers.

12:00 pm Buffet Lunch

Airline Chicken Breast, Salmon Filet, Tortellini Pomodoro, Michigan Greens Salad, Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes, Petite Ratatouille, Bread, and a variety of Michigan’s favorite desserts. Beverage service: gourmet coffee/tea bar, bottled and citrus infused water, assorted Coke products.

(A brief update of SEMAFP activities/award presentations will be given during the meal)

*Personal Kayaks and Bicycles are permitted but NOT avalible for rental*

Parking: Complimentary parking is available in the 70-space lot adjacent to Dossin Museum as well as other nearby lots for the Aquarium and Conservatory, if needed. Belle Isle Parking Map

All vehicles that enter Belle Isle State Park are required to have a Michigan Recreation Passport. If you did not purchase one with your vehicle registration, one can be purchased upon entrance to the park for $12. For more information: Recreation Parking Info

Registration: All SEMAFP members are welcome to bring one guest and their children. Please complete the RSVP registration form before deadline of 8/19/22 to attend.
