Welcome to Fashion Illustration at the LuHi Arts Academy! Students wasted no time and jumped right into an overview lesson with Mrs. Tomei on the principles of drawing the fashion figure and going over simple poses.
Students worked on perfecting the fashion figure during our Fashion Illustration class today. Students focused on movement, positions, and understanding how to draw the figure in preparation for garment drawing in the coming weeks.

Welcome to Drawing, Drawing, Drawing at the LuHi Arts Academy! Mr. Baumgarn covered the basics of drawing & shading objects, perception, and angles. In addition, students used a sneaker as a practice example on how to draw an object from a picture in preparation for drawing a physical shoe in our next class.

Students outlined and drew facial features!
Students worked on adding color to their Valentine’s Day-inspired looks in today’s Fashion Illustration Class.

During today's class of Drawing, Drawing, Drawing, Mr. Baumgarn walked students through methods of taking a physical object and drawing them 2D on paper. Students used a variety of shoes to practice drawing perspectives and angles in today’s lesson. |

Students enjoyed using markers to complete their fashion looks from our last class and began work on a new project in today’s Fashion Illustration Class.
Students in the Fashion Illustration course at the LuHi Arts Academy worked on fashion looks with models wearing coats and jackets.

Students worked on using light to observe an object’s form to better understand how to shade in 2D. Students then worked on shading basic shapes to help with sketching other objects later in the course. |

Students utilized watercolor in today's Fashion Illustration class at the LuHi Arts Academy. The color made the fashion looks pop off the page! |

Students worked on some short, charcoal figure drawings in today's Drawing, Drawing, Drawing class. They looked at getting the basic gesture of the pose. |

Students finished their watercolor fashion looks and posed with their favorite artwork to close out the end of Block 2.

Students continued to sharpen their drawing skills in Mr. Baumgarn's Drawing, Drawing, Drawing class at the LuHi Arts Academy.
