Bay Area Interfaith Organizations Respond to Killings
at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas
Wednesday, May 25, 2022 -- Yesterday, our nation suffered yet another senseless and horrific massacre, when an 18 year-old gunman opened fire at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, killing 19 children and two teachers, the deadliest mass shooting in the United States this year. In our many faith traditions we profess that when one member of the body suffers, the entire body suffers. Today, the many interfaith organizations of the Bay Area stand in solidarity, share in the grief and pray for the strength and comfort so sorely needed by those parents, family members and loved ones who have been traumatized by this attack and suffered unthinkable loss.
