Good morning,
During my sermon yesterday I was asking us all to show others how we live a Christian life, by a Christian example.
Lent is a perfect time, during which we can re-evaluate how we react to others, and how we can have a much simpler life and a better life.
I feel Lent gives us the opportunity to slow down and to have some time to reflect, on our relationship with God. As we come together (in-person & online) to worship God, we are together in prayer and song.

Our church is no longer in a static position; we are on the airwaves in countless homes all over the world, in many times zones, as well as in-person.
Surprisingly we are growing - not shrinking; we are enriching so many more lives than would ordinarily be able to get to church.
|
|
We are widening our sphere of social space, to be larger, more visionary about worship, for ALL people wherever they are.
So, as we all continue our Lenten journey, and spend our daily time in prayer at 9pm, I pray that God continues to bless you all this week.

Many of you will remember, our long time member - Jon McBride; he is now living in PA, with his sister & family.
Jon called Rev. Janice on Sunday afternoon to give an update on how he was & to see how everyone was after the tornado ripped through.
He is doing well, but misses everyone here in Ocala. He sends his love & says 'Hello' to you all.
